When we were cruising the Intracoastal Waterway on our boat, back before we even dreamed of ever living in South Carolina, we thought that the longest docks/piers in the world were in South Carolina. I think this pier at Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant proves were were right! This is a new park in Mount Pleasant where you can walk all over the marsh and watch wonderful wildlife.
